I've had a serious problem with this book since the first time I read it many years ago. That problem is the book is full of useless information that anyone who buys this book would have no interest in reading. I want to know about Countess Bathory, not the way she has been portrayed in movies, books and music. I gave the author the benefit of the doubt because there might not have been that much information on Bathory. I've since learned that is not the case.

This just isn't a good book. The theory is not convincing and is really nothing more than one man's opinion based on flimsy evidence. And most of the book isn't even about why the author thinks Dracula was a woman. Luckily I was able to sell this when it was still rare and get my money back. Terrible book.
