I probably would have enjoyed this more if I has started at the beginning of the series. I also read an uncorrected proof copy, so some things may have been tightened up in the final editing. I would recommend this if your enjoy funny paranormal romance. I like darker urban fantasy (LL Foster, Patricia Briggs) so this was a little flippant for my tastes. I also felt like the author took every geek girl favorite and threw them into the story (Egypt, dragons, Indiana Jones, Lara Croft). Not bad, but not one for my keeper shelf.
