Dragon Venom, the third and final book in the Obsidian Chronicles is a great ending for the trilogy. As with the first two, the story keeps the reader enthralled, and in my case, not wanting to put the book down, yet on the other hand not being in a big hurry to reach the end.
In the Obsidian Chronicles, Lawrence Watt-Evens takes a surprising turn in the way he describes dragons and their actions. If you like fantasy, and in particular stories about dragons, you'll like this trilogy!

3rd and last in the series. After reading the first one, I had to see how the story of the orphaned boy, baptized by dragon venom mixed with blood. would end. A good resolution! An excellent fantasy series.

At least for me, the first two novels in this trilogy were page turners. I really enjoy most of Watt-Even's work. However, it seemed I had to slog through most of this novel, as there was mostly discussions of the power of various magical beings. However, the ending made up for it. While there are some unresolved issues at the end of this trilogy, that's life! The only advice I can give you is the next time you kill a dragon, put its fangs away in a safe place and hope you never have to use them.
