This is a reprint of a 1984 Loveswept title she wrote. This was one of her early books and it shows - Really just a light romance with possible her first dabbling with paranormal. Nothing like her Bishop series (the Fear,Shadow,Evil) which are much more developed and engaging - she has improved so much over the years. Pretty much what Loveswepts were like back then -- light romance, not too many details with the sex scenes and a HEA - if you're in the mood for that its fine. Not a book you'll remember forever but ok.

This book was so disappointing. The description on the back leads you to believe it's a mystery. Yeah, it's not. It's a very badly done romance. The so-called hero, tells the main character her loves her after they've spent less than an hour together. I've read so much better from this author.

Good author but this not one of her better ones. Strictly a romance story, not much suspense about it. Quick read for something different.

A straight romance. Not my cup of tea. Had to read it because I collect Kay Hooper. Prefer her suspense books.

This was a very different book. Worth reading once. I wasn't very happy with it.

If you just want a thrill of romance, read this book. Otherwise, it has no plot, no character development...just a crazy set of circumstances that throw two people into "love at first sight" basically. The "prince come to help slay her dragons" analogy is cute and romantic, but it just goes WAYYYY too far. I thought this book would have some sort of supernatural/suspenseful element, but it's kind of a ruse (SPOILER ALERT) - the only thing dark and creepy turns out to be an injured wolf that basically "trusts" these folks to take care of it. It basically becomes a tame housepet until its healed. The woman's big secret? I suppose the one she shares practically the first time she opens her mouth, which is that she can read other people's minds. Okayyyy. I can't believe this woman's books are bestsellers unless this is atypical of her writing. Pretty much a waste of my time.

Nice modern romance with a patient hero and a heroine with inner strength and battles from childhood...a good read. Not what I was expecting..yet entertaining.

Rats! I was enticed by the shiny new cover. Thinking it was a new book, I jumped in with both feet, only to be sorely disappointed.

Note to author and publisher, if you can't come up with a new story, don't disappoint your fans be doing a rerun.

I won't even cry if nobody asks for my book to swap.
