This is perhaps the most bizarre story I have ever read or perhaps I should say, the most bizarre excellent story. Even after reading and enjoying it, Im not quite sure what to say beyond that. At various points, I: laughed out loud; gasped in surprise; wrinkled my brow in perplexity. I cheered on the protagonist and booed the villain (not out loud). Even though you know the end of the story at the beginning, theres no telling how youre going to end up there - until you're there.
...Other than that, Id recommend a quick review of Shakespeares 'The Tempest' before you start. (SparkNotes will do.)
