Brilliant in-depth analysis of the past 50 years of military power in the United States. Who holds the power, who promotes the power, how the military power trumps domestic programs, and ultimately, how the mission of the United States military has drifted, and why it needs to be restored to its Constitutional place. I have so much more of an understanding of how our country operates. This book is just brilliant. I only wish she would publish an update and add information of the last 10 years since the book was written.
