This book was just meh for me. I enjoyed the descriptions of rural Poland, and I enjoyed the theme of justice for animals, but the astrological parts were lost on me. It was very slow, and seemed like it would be better as a short story. While slow, it didn't seem to use this time to further develop any of the characters. It seemed just filler and repeating the same themes over and over. So, just meh for me.
