Although I liked the series, I was not really happy with the ending. In each of the other books, it always seemed as if the star-crossed lovers would end up happily together, but the people they finally end up with seem very unlikely. Also, the problem of the Troy Game is not ultimately solved to my satisfaction. A good read, but I wasn't happy with the direction that Douglass took with the storyline.
