I just want to start out by saying (whether you agree or not - that's up to you, of course) that I am a Liberal (note that I do not say Democrat) and I'm VERY against Baby Bush - but that I DID NOT LIKE this book much.
To me, Moore's arguments are not that well thought out, his logic and arguments are disjointed and hop from subject to subject like a frightened rabbit, and you have to buy the separate "official reader" to get the actual FACTS that he claims are in the book. Now, through some independent research, I do know that much of what he says is true or based on truth - but much of it is also conjecture - and he does not do us, the reader, the courtesy of telling us which he is stating at any given time - basically everything is represented as 100% factual!
IF YOU WANT A MUCH BETTER BOOK complete with FACTS and SOURCES try AL FRANKEN'S LIES and the LYING LIARS WHO TELL THEM, A FAIR AND BALANCED LOOK AT THE RIGHT...it is scrupulously researched (with all sources almost ridiculously detailed), logical in its flow from one idea to the next, and is also a good bit funnier and more well written. After seeing Moore's movie, I was VERY disappointed in the book, which I hoped would be just as good - but just didn't deliver for me!

Moore always cuts to the chase with his own slant on things. Agree with him or not, I always find his books thought-provoking.

Come one come all those who dispise the plague running the country. Dude where's my country is more of the witty response to just this from the Famed Michael Moore. I loved this book personally always a laugh with Michael Moore.

A must read for those who did not vote for George W. As a matter of fact it's a must read for those who did vote for George W.

Michael Moore has his soft spots and his detractors, but when it comes to facts, they're all there. A must read for people on the bubble about the crisis the neocons have put us in.

Agree or disagree, it makes you think about certain aspects of government we may overlook.
I did like reading this book BUT (and that's a HUGE but) I just can't figure out how to take Michael Moore. He is very controversial and even though I tend to agree with so much of what he had written in this book I still had a nagging feeling that I was being fed a line of bull. I've had this book forever and only decided to read it after watching his documentary Sicko.
I'm not really a fan of Michael Moore at all, but I read this book so that I could gain a better understanding of his opinions. It was an interesting book, for sure.
I loved this book from begining to ending!!!
Definitely Michael Moore, although not his finest hour. Even when he sounds like a broken record, it's a very listenable song he sings.
Good but I got bored with it because there is nothing new to me- Bush is bad, Michael moore is good...
FROM THE PUBLISHER
Michael Moore is on a mission in his new book: Regime Change. The man who slithered into the White House on tracks greased by his daddy's oil buddies is one of many targets in Mike's blistering follow-up to his smash #1 hit Stupid White Men, the biggest-selling nonfiction book of the year. Now no one is safe: corporate barons who have bilked millions out of their employees' lifetime savings, legislators who have stripped away our civil liberties in the name of "homeland security," and even that right-wing brother-in-law of yours (yes, we all have one) who manages, year after year, through his babbling idiocy, to ruin Thanksgiving dinner.

Great book...a must have for anyone who appreciates Michael Moore.
More Moore!
I read this in the Summer of '04 and it was a good read. Nothing spectacular.
Gotta love Mike. He's been right all along.
Michael Moore is always fun to read but must be taken with a grain of salt
This is a great book for those that enjoy the rants of Moore!
An interesting read, however you need to take his bias into effect.
Irreverent, outrageous but totally easy to read. Republicans watch out!
