London 1818 and it is Fabulous!
I know a lot of readers tend to typically like the "bad boy" hero who reforms for the heroine, but this story may change your mind.
I love when heros know they want the heroine from the start and arrange the situation in order to get the results they desire. This book is just like that. Although fate has a hand in the matter, the ultimate story-line is a man that takes control of the situation and makes the heroine fall in love with him without being to domineering. Add to that her unique reason for striking out on her own and the secret of his unusual occupation and it's a great read.
Enjoy it!

This book started out wonderfully, and went down hill fast. It seems like Jillian Hunter of old wrote the first half and then somebody else took over. Was not one of my favorites.
