I really enjoyed this book. The author's adventures paralleled some of my own dad's, only by the time Richard Curtis was flying, my dad had already been shot down, been a POW, escaped and was on his way across Italy to Switzerland. This is a fun read for WWII history buffs, especially if you are interested in the pilot training program.
