I almost never, ever, will write a disparaging review for a book. It is hurtful, plain and simple. But this one sort of pissed me off, and most of the angst is at myself for continuing to listen to it.
My thoughts:
Bleh! Bleh! If you like amazingly predicable books, writers who sound exactly like Jodi Picoult, bleh, and anything narrated by Cassandra Campbell, you will love this audio. Campbell STILL can't pronounce the most common Italian words, and in this book, there is only one. (Referring to Very Valentine here.) Like any Picoult book, this one needed an editor desperately to knock out the constant repetitions about aging, body shapes, faces/makeup and the CT Gold Coast Wifes.
Now, admittedly, the book kept me weeding and walking, but that is because I didn't have another downloaded. Bleh!

I agree with Bonnie S. I read Dune Road and it left me unsatisfied with the content, etc.
