The story focuses more on people kidnapped than the Enterprise crew, which I think may throw some people off. It is a fairly powerful book about hostage situations, abuse, bonding, and all the psychological issues related thereto. I enjoyed it, but as noted, if you want all usual cast as the main focus, this may not be the best choice.
