This is a very good book..it really keeps your interest. But there is only 290 pages(I like thick books!),and I read this in 2 days! The back cover reads;P.I.Tamara Hayle and her latest client, popular radio personality Mandy Magic, share the same roots-both grew up in the hardscrabble projects on one of the meanest streets in Newark. But that's where their common past ends.Mandy Magic is rich, famous, and stalked by a past that won't turn her loose. And that's what brings her to Tamara Hayle.Mandy Magic knows that each act of vandalism and seemingly random murder brings the demons of her yesterdays closer-and each day that passes makes her easier to kill.

Tamara is hired to investigate threatening notes to a radio star, Mandy Magic. All those close to Mandy die and each death is followed by another note. Tamara knows that Mandy is holding back important information and downright lying to her but Tamara continues to ask those around Mandy about her "story". I was completely floored by the identity of the killer - never saw that one coming at all. Ms. Wilson-Wesley writes a great story and this was not a disappointment at all. I look forward to reading the next in the series. I do recommend reading her books in order so that the characters all make sense that way.
