This is a lot of fun. The castle is easy to put together and only requires some scissors to cut out the pieces, glue, toothpicks, a tiny amount of thread for the drawbridge, and something sturdy to make a moat, like a piece of blue cardboard. My kids really enjoyed it, and it is so much nicer to construct a castle like this so that they can actually see a gate house, a great hall, the kitchen, the well, etc. instead of just reading about it. A wonderful extra resource for studying a medieval castle, complete with knights to defend the castle in battle.
