If you are a fan of Jack Higgins you enjoy the novel-if you have never read ant of his books, this novel will make a fan of his.

This was an okay book - fast read and plenty of action but there wasn't enough development of the characters for my liking. It is like a Tom Clancy book in that there is government involvement, spies, revenge, and such but, for some reason, I was bored with it. Oh, I read it all but just didn't get into it like I do a Tom Clancy one.
good read
this was one of my favorite books and i still enjoy it
Just an awful novel, the plot makes no sense. The book moves from one action scene to another without any thought behind what is driving the action. Characters are not developed beyond the fact that Dillon likes Bushmills whiskey, alot. Even the action scenes are lame. The whole book feels like it was written using index cards that were then stitched together quickly.
Another "sleek and intensely abosorbing" (Publisher's Weekly)novel of international intrigue. This is another Sean Dillon story. Dillon is an ex-IRA enforcer working for the British, but still with interesting ties back home in Ireland. A story of today's world of terrorism threats, family honor and intrigue.
I like Higgins and I liked this one
I bought this to become familiar with Jack Higgins, but I didn't finish it.
Addictive!
British agent Sean Dillon, late of the IRA, is back in another heart-stopping adventure by veteran suspense writer Jack Higgins, who starts his newest with a dry recitation of the background and heritage of the villains of this piece (the half-British, half-Arab Rashid family) and then rockets them into action.
My husband has truly enjoyed these books with sean Dillon in them. The series has kept his interest and there is a surprise at every curve.
Ex-IRA member Sean Dillon and White House security man Blake Johnson team up again (previously in "The White House Connection" and "Day of Reckoning") to save the President from terrorists who will die rather than surrender. Exciting.
another great Sean Dillion book.
Non-stop action and very intense about terror on the world
Sean Dillon fasces more trials when Britain, Arabia and the US clash.
My husband read this on a long plane flight and enjoyed it. I haven't read it so can't give it a proper review. sorry
