I love this book. The first-person true account of a first-timer (and relative newcomer to marathoning) at the Badwater Ultramarathon, a yearly 120-mile ultramarathon through Death Valley at the hottest time of the year. It is so fascinatingly written - you feel you are there. I have read the book several times, I enjoyed it so much! This is not just a book for runners - I have never voluntarily run a step in my life :). It's just a well-told tale, well worth the time.
