Very good story line (though it's hard for me to believe there are people in this world that are THAT evil, I'm sure, somewhere, they do exist) The hero is, of course, tortured, super-macho, on-the-edge, etc. etc. etc. The heroine is, of course, perfect for him; vunerable, but with hidden strength. The sex scenes do not disappoint - hot, steamy, explicit - a la Ms. McKenna. The characters, the story line, the sex, the action - everything was VERY intense. If you are a fan of this author, this book will not disappoint you.

I had a harder time with this story perhaps it is because I read Kev's story first. There are a lot of similarities, especially in Liv's and Parish's families. Their families both think Kev and Sean are the stalkers. Their families both try to have the ladies committed. In fact, I think even all the family members are the same. I enjoyed Kev story a lot so I had a higher expectations of this one and was slightly disappointed.
Sean was such a jerk at times and so self-absorbed. For someone who is a goof ball, Kev is actually the sweet one. I adore Liv though. I also had a hard time how dumb some of the characters were. Oh, I just made everyone mad because I brought a killer's attention to me and my family. So to make up for it, I'm going to go out and play bait to a serial killer. Oh, I have to see my family and there is a killer gunning for me. I better sneak out without telling anyone. Not to mention I hated Cindy's character. She only started seeing Miles' potential after she checked out the physical goods. She is so shallow and does play the poor me card too much. He deserves much better.
Other than those things, it was an enjoyable story and I will look forward to reading other books in the series. I do like the McCloud gang and love the scenes when they are all interacting. I might have given this a higher rating if I didn't read Kev's story first. It was okay. I definitely preferred Kev's story.

A super sexy book. A continuation of the McCloud brothers saga. If you like a lost of sex scenes this is the book for you.

I've loved all of the McCloud books and this one did not disappoint. It's fast-paced and edgy and sexy - typical Shannon McKenna. I really like how she brings in all of the supporting characters (Davy, Connor, Miles, etc) without having the "extras" overshadowing the storyline of Sean and Liv.
This book is going on my keeper shelf right alongside Davy's & Connor's stories. Too bad there aren't anymore McCloud brothers.... he he

I have enjoyed Shannon McKenna's McCloud Brothers series. I think the stories are getting better each time. I really enjoyed Davy's story and didn't think she could top it. I was wrong. This book is Sean's story. I really liked it alot. I enjoyed finally getting to see inside Sean's ADHD hyper driven mind. He is like the big goofy kid in a man's body. I can't wait to read the next installment, which is Nick Wards story. To come after that is Tamara's story and then, FINALLY we will get to read the story surrounding Sean's twin brother, who is said to have died many years before!!!! I deffinately recommend this book but would say you should start reading from the very beginning. That way you can have all the background information and won't get lost in the details.
The McCloud brothers are quite a bunch. This is Sean's story. He loved Liz but circumstances made him hurt her & send her away 15 years ago. Now she is back & his love is still strong. Her life is in danger & he will do anything in his power to protect her (even use her attraction to him). This book is full of suspense, heart felt emotions & steamy sex scenes. Anyone who knows Ms. McKenna's stories will love this-not to miss. Enjoy!

Love these books, the brothers are so intense and hot. The storyline is excellent and keeps you turning the pages. Each story weaves into the next and you will really like the characters.
Super hot romantic suspense. Book #4 in the McCloud brothers series. Sean is the baby brother tortured by his twin's suicide. He hurt Liv, the woman he loved, to save her from the people Kev was involved with. Each book in the series gets hotter and more graphic. A good read for McKenna fans. I can't imagine what Nick's story will be like. It will probably set the pages on fire. 4 stars
I love this series... Very Hot!
I always had a little thing for Sean when he showed up in the other stories, so of course I read his book in less than a day. I love his charm, and the way he plays with Liv as well as his brothers. He's intense and hot like the others, but he has a little extra charisma that makes him my favorite. I have all the McCloud brothers books on my shelf, and I reread them constantly!

Shannon McKenna know how to build suspense and sexual desire. I read this book in 4 hours. I own all her books in my personal library. Can't wait for the next one.
