Britton's third in the NASCAR series is entertaining. Though it lacks the sizzle of "Dangerous Curves," Britton makes up for it by giving her characters much-needed depth. Rebecca's anguish in moving on is evident from the start and it is nice to see a heroine not just jump into the arms of a new man so quickly. Readers familiar with the series will find themselves scratching their heads as Rebecca and Randy's last name switched from Newell to Newman for no apparent reason.

Pamela Britton is a very good writer; blend of real life problems and romance. This story is about Rebecca Newman, widow of driver Randy Newman, and car owner, her new driver and his very precocious daughter. A very good read.

I am a NASCAR fan and was hesitant to read any of Pamela's books at first. However, after I read one, I was hooked. On The Edge is fantastic and a must read for anyone who read any of Pamela's books.

For Nascar racing fans this is a must read! For non-racing fans its still a great book, easy to follow and loveable drivers.
