This is the author's first book, and I'm already a fan. It's fresh, funny, sexy, and an overall good read.
The premise: Emma escapes from the London (good reason - I'll let you find out) to Yorkshire. She pretends to be a widow in order to teach at a school for young ladies. The twist - she has to teach the girls about their wedding night duties. She turns to Lord Chambers - a rake and an artist. Great story! I really enjoyed it.

Lord Nicholas Chambers likes his quiet peaceful life painting in the countryside. His first meeting of the Widow Brimley intrigues him. For a widow there is something innocent about Emma.

The Education of Mrs. Brimley is a superb novel. It's witty, tender and passionate. The characters feel like old friends by the time you are finished. I am really looking forward to the next book by this author.

Book #1 of a loosely based series. Emma poses as a widow to escape being sold as a wife to an old man. But she is hired at a girls school to teach the wifely arts in the bedroom, a subject she knows nothing about. So she arranges with the rake & scoundrel next door to provide answers to her questions in exchange for posing for his painting.
Not a bad story if you can get over the "exchange" as being preposterous. The characters are likable and fun.

Victorian romance fans will enjoy this fun frolic starring two likable protagonists who fall in love while he trains her in the art of love. The droll double entendres make for an intelligent amusing historical as the student teaches the teacher as much as he does her. An enjoyable story
Great Book.. funny at times.
