'Ventures among Men and Mountains' is the subtitle of the book. Interesting for all those who love to read about real people and their adventures.
One of the best writers of outdoor non-fiction. Highly recommended.

A dozen excellent essays on climbing and its personalities. I always enjoy Krakauer's work, and this is no exception

This is an excellent book written by one who has experienced the rush of climbing the dangerous mountains himself. As always if you have read any of Jon Krakauer's book you know how exciting and keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout. Several stories, each as exciting as the next.

great supplement to Krakauer material. Multiple short stories in his tried and true thriller style. I love his writing, and this little bathroom reader did nothing but solidify that sentiment in my mind. Enjoy it.
