It's hard to believe this beautiful novel is the author's debut. It's best readers know little about the plot before meeting Eleanor so this will be brief.
If you enjoyed Britt-Marie Was Here by Fredrik Backman, you'll love this interesting character study. I highly recommend the audiobook; the narrator handles the various Scottish accents masterfully.
