Waited a long time to read this book. Ellie's Haven is he second book in the River of Hope series by Sharlene MacLaren. It is the story of 19 year old Ellie, who runs from her brutal stepfather, and ends up in the town of Wabash. She marries a man, who needs help raising his four children. It is a marriage of convenience, but it may not stay that way! Highly recommended.
