Short stories filled with rich details written b6y amaster of he short story.
Eleven stories focus on incidents connected with Ellis Island and since I enjoy collections such as these I liked reading the book. The writing is flowing and imaginative and the descriptions are wonderfully crafted. It's a very nice little read.
This book is several short stories. The writing is similar to Hemingway in manner. I found myself lost at the end of one story but enjoyed several others very much. All in all a decent quick read.
