A lot of imagination went into this story of a primitive people who believe their lives are controlled by a god. A choice group finds out otherwise when they are selected by their "god" to be judged. This story is one of those that makes the reader think of our own culture and question everything we take for granted..... A thought provoking book!

This book was entertaining and interesting. It was about a civilization that has been controlled by an external force that the people considered their god... but in short time a group of the people are shown the truth and must pass a test for the survival of their people as a whole. I enjoyed but would have enjoyed more closure at the end. Its open for a sequel. I reccommend this book for someone who enjoys People of the Wolf by W. Micheal Gear crossed with a bit of scifi.
