I found some things changed, or maybe became more clear in book 3. For one thing the writer made the dog have actual memories that ELVIS had. I had always thought of the dog just being cute, and thinking he was Elvis. But the way things were worded, I got the impression the author wants us to believe the Dog really is Elvis.
I had a the hardest time keeping this mystery straight who was who, and why. There where so many people killed that you really didnt know much about, and the names got confusing.
I still enjoyed the book and will read the next, but I gave it only a 3.
