This is the first Elvis book I've read, but after reading this book I am wanting to read more. Very interesting book and its told as if she herself was talking to you. Loved it! But, left wanting more.

A first-hand account of the Svengali-like relationship between Elvis Presley and Priscilla Beaulieu, starting from her early teen years. Throughout, you sense her love for Elvis despite his flaws (and there were many).

A must read for any Elvis fan written by the woman who loved him and was his wife, Priscilla.

Liked it. If you're an Elvis or Pracilla fan, you'll love it!
very interesting if you are an Elvis fan or if you have ever been interested in how his and Priscilla's relationship came to be.
After visiting Graceland, I had to read this book. I have to admit, I was somewhat disappointed. While it provided a more human look at the Elvis his career achievements were overshadowed by his personal life and his relationship with Priscilla. It appeared to be more her story than his...It was interesting but you have to wonder what motivates an "ex" to write a book about someone, especially the way she painted a very dark picture of Elvis.
The book was very good. It's the second time I read it. I wanted to reread it after I took a tour of Elvis and Priscilla's Honeymoon Hideaway.
This book was a very interesting look into the lives of Priscilla and Elvis.
This book is great for all Elvis and Priscilla Presley fans and lovers.
It's Priscilla B. Presley's personal account and own words about how her life when she was with the late Elvis. It was great to read, very eye opening, and lovely.

Love anything about Elvis
I think she told a lot of truth in her account of their life together. I am interested in getting Jerry Schillings book and comparing the two.
From the back cover: "He taught me everything; how to dress, how to walk, how to apply make-up and wear my hair, how to behave, how to return love--his way. Over the years, he became my father, husband, and very nearly God..." Includes black & white photos.
The hardcover spent months as a #1 national bestseller with over 820,000 copies in print. Now it's in paperback and promises to be an even bigger success!
