This was a very disturbing book about teenagers who want to be different, so they pretend to be vampires and play vampire games. When their personalities aren't strongly formed they can lose the difference between what is pretend and what is reality. That is when it became dangerous and two innocent people lost their lives because of it.
This is a story that needed to be told. It can help parents know what danger signs to watch for in their teenagers and it can help teenagers know what can happen when they carry things too far.

For the most part an interesting read. Drags a little in the middle. The last 10 chapters or so the author tries (too hard) to convince the reader that one of the suspects was an innocent victim. I like drawing my own conclusions.

i think it's scarey how one young man could influence those kids around him to do the things he told them to do.

This book is quite disturbing but it is very well written. The case, although tragic, is interesting. I found myself feeling sorry for each of the people involved at some point in the book. Aprodite Jones puts together a very cohesive narrative about these tragic teens and the events that led up to the ending tragedy.
