Thanks so much for policing the discussion boards.  You are doing a great service to the PBS community by doing so.

While you are at it, I just wanted to let you know that there are other things you can do to help the community.  Perhaps you should report the dozens of members that post magazines (as books) on a regular basis.

Here is the way to do it .... search in the advanced search for the words issue and 2010 (or any other year) in the Title search.  I just did it and 10 people you could report came up.  Have fun.  You should create quite a following.  Here is the search url to help you with the first one:

Thanks again for your wonderful service.  Oh yeah, by the way, the few times we shipped magazines it was by Priority Mail from the USPS. 

We will delete our post so there arent any more repurcussions from you, or PBS.  We actually LOVE the community and its members.  You should check out the books we posted in our bookshelf - nearly 300 of them ready to send out and trade with members that care about the love of books, without making it a police state.

Lastly, if anyone wants our list of quilting and/or embroidery magazines please feel free to email us and we will send you the list of what we have available (they are all NEW).  The deal is quite good.

(8) Swapping of "unpostables" in this forum

• It is OK to offer unpostable media (such as magazines) for credits in "unofficial" swaps in this forum, or as freebies/incentives to order from a Bookshelf . 
• Remember that non-Media-Mail-eligible items CANNOT be sent using Media Mail postal rate. For example, DVDs and VHS tapes and magazines and pamphlets/booklets without ISBNs are all NOT permitted to be posted at PBS; they can all be offered as freebies/incentives, or for credit in "unofficial" swaps in this forum. Any items that contain advertising (ie, magazines or booklets bought at a supermarket checkout stand), or are not Media items (anything but books, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes) can't be sent Media Mail, so the whole package will have to go First Class or Priority Mail. DVDs/VHS tapes/CDs may be sent using Media Mail postal rate. Non-media items can't be swapped on the site - the Book Bazaar is not a Flea Market!

Just need to keep the deal making on the Bazaar Page - if mailing out Magazines with Advertisements inside then mail using other than MEDIA MAIL process - will cost more (use First Class, or Priority Mail, or Parcel Post, etc). Not all magazines have advertisements (refer to Kids HIGHLIGHTS and older TASTE OF HOME etc). 

You can post on the Discussion (Fourm) - CRAFTS page that you have craft related magazine deals deals listed in the Bazaar and refer folks there...

Added - While you can do deals trading magazines for credits in the BAZAAR, it should be noted that you cannot POST Magazines to your bookshelf - i.e. since you are not allowed to post a magazine then no one can order a magazine from you. POSTING a Magazine is not allowed - Trading a magazine (for credit) in the BAZAAR is allowed. This is allowed only in the Bazaar.

Also added - section 3 concerns the method of 'payment' for any and all deals in the Bazaar - no money (Cash, Moolah, Coin of the Realm) is allowed to be exchanged - only book credit(s)  are allowed to be exchanged/used as a form of payment.
