This was such an enjoyable read. If you liked the first book then you'll definitely love this one. It did take a bit to get going but once it did, it was wonderful.
In this story we continue with our main characters, Emily and Wendell. They set off to find the door to Wendell's kingdom along with 2 new characters, Ariadne, who is Emily's niece, and Dr. Rose. This adds and enjoyable mix to the fellowship. Once they set off on their adventure things get fun with new types of faeries added into the mix, a slow-burn romance on the side, and characters growing and changing right before our eyes. Looking forward to book 3.
