I loved this book! I wish I had read this series in order. The reading order is: Some Enchanted Evening, The Barefoot Princess, and The Prince Kidnaps a Bride.

This Regency-era romance is book one of the Lost Princesses trilogy. In the early 19th century, the three princesses of the fictional European country of Beaumontagne are thrust into exile, fleeing revolutionaries and foul treachery. Now in Scotland, middle sister Clarice uses her royal status as part of a cosmetics-selling scam, confident that no one will really believe that she's a princess. Her enterprise soon catches the eye of Richard, the Earl of Hepburn, who is ensnared by Clarice's stunning good looks but calculating enough to use her to further his scheme of vengeance against the man who dishonored him.

First of 3 in a series. I'm anxious now to read the next 2. Good story!

Not one of my favorite books by her. I got bored with the book many times and read a few other books while reading this one. It is too complicated in the beginning trying to piece the story together and you keep thinking there must be another book that came first... but no this is the first in the series. I might read the next two but it might be awhile.
