Lovely story about a minister, his congregation, a mysterious sexton and, of course, quilts. Characters, and even one of the buildings, hold secrets that unfold as the story develops.

A story of a pastor who welcomes the Hispanic community and meets a woman from what appears to be Mexico, their growing friendship from which develops love, and the mystery behind her. It is a good read.

I really enjoyed "Endless Chain" because it had people from different cultures coming together, even though there were some conflicts in the story. I'm also a quilter and it was fun to have the quilting aspect in the story too. It's a feel good book that was fun to read.
Another lovely book in the quilt series, centering around the minister at Community Church and a lovely, secretive woman who is hired to work as the church sexton. Richard's characters are warm and engaging, and she actually makes me wish I could quilt!
I really enjoyed this book set in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. If you like realistic characters, a little romance, and some suspense, you're in for a treat.
While not as good as "Wedding Ring," this book was still a wonderful read. I still loved this book and I'm looking forward to when I can read the next one.

After leaving his previous job as a minister in a rather glitzy church were being seen is more important then doing good, Sam Kinkade has settled into the town of Toms Brook, VA, the same setting as Richards previous book Wedding Ring. With many of the same characters, the author weaves a new story around the church and their new Sexton, Elisa Martinez, a refugee from Guatemala.
Sam and his fellow parishioners have opened up La Casa Amarilla on the grounds of the church to act as an education program for the Hispanic children new to the area. But as the story progresses we see that everyone has a secret, including the pre-Cival War home that houses the school.
With precise storytelling, Emilie Richards unwinds a wonderful addition to her Shenandoah Album series that brings the residents of Toms Brook into our homes and makes the reader a wonderful addition to the close knit community that cares for one another in a way that now seems foreign to most of us.

I loved it. I enjoyed reading this series very much. there are a lot of historical facts mixed in with the friction.
