Didn't seem as there was as much action in this book as the first. Romance is not my genre of choice at all to be fair. I honestly only read this book because I had read the first one a few years ago and recently found out it was a trilogy.
I managed to get through 90 pages of this (nearly a record for me lately) before feeling like I'd read it all before and getting the urge to skim just to get through it. It has a slight resemblance to Suzanne Brockmann's SEAL books minus all the bad cuss words but Davis' characters just aren't as lively. Maybe it's the cuss words I miss?
Anyway, the book is well written but is nothing new under the sun if you've been reading romantic suspense for awhile. It's about a female bomb expert who gets partnered with a sexy man (would we have it any other way?) with a tragic past. She's being stalked by a killer who knows exactly how to get under her skin.

Be sure to read Endgame (1st) and then Enigma. The third book by Dee Davis is coming out soon - Exposure. Do yourself a favor and read the first 2 before you read the last. It will help you follow this great series

Been in my TBR pile for way too long. Decided to let it go.
