This book is crammed full of statistics that did not move the needle at all with me, because the author relentlessly downplays negative signs that life is getting worse on our planet in terms of environment (record floods, storms, droughts, etc.), democracy, health, human rights, mutual respect, the economy and more. The book was published in 2017 or 2018 and thus has what now seems like an unreasonably sunny outlook on the present and future. I distinctly do not recommend the book.
