On one side of each of The Enneagram Cards is one of the 90 Key Words, 10 for each type. The Key Words have been field tested and carefully chosen to present a balanced spread among the Levels of Development for each type and to account for other factors operating within the type.
On the reverse side is the authors' illuminating definition which indicates various dimensions of the meaning of the Key Word. Reflecting on the Key Word definition is a concrete way to accelerate self-awareness and the practice of self-observation, one of the primary uses of the Enneagram. The Key Word definition can be used for personal growth, relationships, coaching, counseling, and therapy, making The Enneagram Cards a versatile new tool for a wide variety of personal and professional settings.
Following the definition is a sample sentence that illustrates the Key Word in a natural context. Finally, there is a quotation from one of the five best-selling Riso-Hudson Enneagram books (with page reference) to indicate where you can find more about the Key Word concept and related information.
