I initially read this book many years ago, back in the early 80's. It was inspiring then and matched where I was spiritually. These days Mr. Peale's writing-though sincere--doesn't resonate with me. Still, I love the title of the book because it's an absolutely true statement. If you only read the story about how enthusiasm changes lives, you're still getting great value from this book.

This is an autographed copy, and it is in very good condition.

Dr. Peale's books, especially this one and "The Power of Positive Thinking," had a positive impact on my life when I was really down. I believe everyone can benefit from reading them.
