An Episode of Sparrows is a tender, warmly compassionate novel, full of the bright aspirations of youth and the gentle wisdom of age. Set in a small section of postwar London, it tells of the young sparrow-like children who must scratch out an existence in the streets.
I enjoyed this book. I thought it was interesting.
