More novella than novel. But funny and fast. Part of the Rincewind books.

This isn't the best of Terry Pratchett's books, but if you enjoy his style of humor it's a fun read. At only 197 pages, in a rather large font, it's also one of his shortest books. If, as I have, you've read through many of the Discworld novels, but not all of them, and not in any particular order, this book fills in a lot of the details about Rincewind that are alluded to in later volumes.

A classic Terry Pratchett. Next to the guards of the Night Watch, Rincewind is my favorite of his continuing characters. A fun romp. Worth a re-read.

Eric was an amusing little romp. Not as good as The Colour of Magic, or The Light Fantastic, but a nice little Faust satire nonetheless.

Like all Terry Pratchett books, Eric was witty, creative, and fun to read.

This is pretty much a Rincewind book, and (not subtely) spoofs Faust.

As other's have said, it wasn't his best Discworld book, but it was a good, solid, short and sweet one.

DiscWorld novels are tasty mind-candy.
