This originial version, as opposed to the 1997 reissue, is better in my opinion because Jay is edgier and sexier in this one.

A Fabulous story! Lots of verbal battling, defiance, love and hate.
Jennifer is a strong female role and not afraid to speak what she thinks. As the youngest of nine daughters it's no wonder! LOL
Jay is a strong male, deputy marshall, running from his past.

Terrific story, but this is a reissue. The originial version, from 1990, is better in my opinion because Jay is edgier and sexier in that one.
If you like your H and H to spar alot, this is a book for you. It's quite a sexy read too without being overly done.

Culhane is a 'love-e'm-and-leave-e'm' kind of guy. When Jennifer realizes that he is not going to make a commitment to any relationship with her, she sees no other out than to walk away. This is sensitively done and a book I enjoyed.
