A wonderful story of a man who does not want to love again and a woman who is afraid to ask for anything to satisfy her needs including love. A quick read.

Good Read, Great Christian romance. Easily read in a couple evenings or a day.

Another "someone else bought him a mail order bride and he didn't know about it" story! (I just reviewed Colleen Coble's "From Russia with Love" which has this same theme.) This was a lovely little book set in frontier times. The hero was burned by love and embittered by some of the harsh blows of life. Then he meets his "bride" who was ordered by his friends, and sees her own strength and peace of mind in adversity. Love ensues.

This was an enjoyable book and I felt the religious aspects of it were well-integrated into the story.
