A decent Voyager book. It was an entertaining read, and I was able to follow the different timelines for the post part. My one complaint was that when the Doctor was involved in the story, the author referred to him as "Doc Zimmerman" - totally out of character with the series itself, since throughout their Delta Quadrant voyage he didn't have a name. That lapse in the story irked me, but luckily he wasn't a major player in this story.
The U.S.S. Voyager is in desperate trouble, her systems damaged, her warp engines failing. Without immediate repairs the starship and her crew wil be trapped forever between the stars. Captain Jainway must guide her ship to a ancient, deserted planet that could hold the key to their survival. #2 in the series.
