Spanning ee cummings' unpublished works from 1911 to 1962, this work is a fascinating look at the evolution of a poet. The love/romance poems are especially intriguing as they often strike a balance between glorious passion and not-so-glorious pain each relationship evoked. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in 20th century poetry, and especially to people who enjoy cummings.
