One of the most interesting science books I've read.

Great book - Almost 4 books in one, the stories of the disappearance of the dinosaurs, the climactic changes since then, the coming of humans, and the effects of the European discovery of America. Author quotes extensively from Diamond's "Guns, Germs and Steel".

Great book! The history of North America since the dinosaurs died. He has a way of explaining things that makes perfect sense.
