This book is a 5 star book until the last 30 or so pages. The author did an incredible job of introducing the readers to all the characters in the book and setting up the storyline.

That is part of the problem! She only introduces the reader and sets up the storyline and we are then almost to the end of the book. In the last 30 or so pages, Ms. Turner quickly tries to resolve all the issues and conclude the story.

So, why the 4 stars? I loved the book and found myself very caught up in the book and everything that was going on with the story. It seemed to me that there was a page limit for the author and she was forced to cut her own story off. I think the series has great potential and even with the cut off ending, I was happy I invested my time in the book.

Overall: Very enjoyable. I think book 2 will be much better since, hopefully, the author will be able to not only setup the story but also write the story to its completion.

Paranormal romance from Dark Dreams Press. The book has a few erotic love scenes, but not over the top, and not so that they distract from the story. Logan is a homeless drug addict, who is aware of the existance of vampires, which is enough to get her killed. She comes to the attention of the Leader of the New York vampires, who is intrigued by her, and doesn't want to see her dead. I enjoyed the story, and the characters. A good, entertaining read.

There was one significant hole in the story but it may only bug me so it is not worth getting into.
