A young girl wakes up from a coma and finds her memories have been implanted into a brain and body of a chimpanzee!
The novel raises all kinds of questions about what makes us who we are and what is our relationship with nature and the environment. Eva is a terrific book for adolescents. A winner of An American Library Association Best Book for Young Adults.

Required reading in high school, one of my favorites during that period of time. About a girl who gets into an accident and has her brain put into a monkey's body... and she has to live her life that way... makes you really think!
