The most memorable, to me, piece of wisdom in this book is that space is everything. I don't think it's a joke that the wrong house can make or break your relationship. :)

Sadly Maya passed away recently. As in Wouldn't Take Nothing for My Journey Now, Maya talks of the things she cares about most. I hadn't read any of her writings before and enjoyed her insight into Oprah, age and sexuality.
