When Bobby and Susan Martin come across a dirty, shivering childr at hteir campsite, the last thing the childless couple expects is to be drawn into an untinkable crime. But when one of the boy's kidnappers comes out of the waving a gun, Bossy is forced to react. In one chaotic, moment the predator is brutally murdered. But was he a criminal or a cop? I really like this author, in fact, went and brought his other books....he is that good.

John Gilstrap had me hooked into this well woven story from the first chapter. I felt complete empathy for the characters and could feel their anguish and deep sadness. The story moved quickly from chapter to chapter and kept my attention all the way to the end. I absolutly recommend this as a great read!

I just couldn't stomach reading this after you get the gist of the storyline

Woe is me I can't have a baby, camping trip stumble on a child, murder a cop, run run---woe is me I can't have a baby so I'll name him Steven, on and on

that is such an old old storyline I just couldn't make myself continue
