Good read with a few twists on the vamp plots. Sexy vamp hero teams up with half-elf Samantha to find a relic which will save his mother's life. Laughs, thrills and you can try to figure out who is working with, or against, who.

This was my 2nd book I've read from Katie MacAlister and it surely won't be the last! She writes in an amusing, entertaining way. I loved the story of the half-elf Sam and the Dark One Paen she falls in love with.

I bit of brain candy for your summer vacation. A shallow read, but with MacAlister's usual humor.

Yet another delicious Dark One book by Katie Mac. Hilarious, touching, surprising... possibly her best one yet! Heroine is, um, bi-racial - maybe make that bi-species? She's half human, half sun-elf. Interesting match for a man who's all Dark One. Throw in a supermodel cousin (who just happens to be a flower-eating faery - but is in serious denial about it), a few denizens of Otherworld, and did I mention that the hero also happens to be Scottish? And that we get to see him in a kilt? What more could you want? Well, if you insist, he also has three brothers, equally dishy...
