I just didn't find this one as fun as the previous ones. The first few pages of the book crammed a bunch of events in just a few pages which made it feel more rushed than exciting. Then, now that the girls's parents are back, the father got really annoying fast to the point of redundant. There's not a lot of really silly stuff in this one like the previous books and Puck makes way too few appearances to help that out. Then, when we find out who the leader of the Red Hand is, it's not very believable. I have to admit, I was a little disappointed in this one. Even for a children's book it is just lacking something overall.
