I completed the third book and again was not disappointed. It keeps you interested throughout the entire book. There is no way to read these books out of order and be able to understand what is happening. This is a series that MUST be read in order. The third book again answers some questions from the previous books, but again leaves many more unanswered.I love this series. I can't wait for the next one.

This is the first book I have read by Chelsea Cain. It will not be my last.
It kept my attention from beginning to end.
Even though this is the third book of the series, I will be reading the first two books. The way this book ended there may be a fourth. You can bet I'll be reading it too.

The third book in this _Silence-of-the-Lambs_-esque series felt short. The plot wasn't as detailed and there was only minimal character growth. And considering the ending, it doesn't look like this will be the last we hear of the Beauty Killer. I will look out for the fourth book, but I must admit that I was a little disappointed with this one. The resolution was loose and there were a lot of flashbacks that seemed more like filler than anything else... Also this one drew more on the gore-factor than the others did.

This is not for the squeamish!!! I read Heartsick and I had forgotten the story of Archie and Gretchen but this will remind you of the events leading up to this story and it is quite the story!! Evil is a good word and makes you wonder where she came up with this story line and she writes it really well, hard to put down.

I think I wanted to like this more than I did. Unfortuantely, as the series progressed, the author tried in my opinion to out-do herself with the 'gore'. I found the characters still interesting.....but less gore and more character development would have kept more interested longer. I wound up not being able to wait for this book to be over. That's kind of unfortuante. Usually we all savor the story as long as we can.

This book was "okay", but it did not live up to the potential presented with her first book, Heart Sick and the follow-up Sweetheart ...which makes me think she should leave this series and move on to something else.

This is the third book in the series. The whole book is very intense. It's hard to put down. And I didn't. I find myself hoping that things will someday work out for Archie. That he will someday find happiness and be able to put Gretchen behind him. Maybe in the next book. :)

A gory, gruesome and satisfying conclusion to the Archie and Gretchen saga. I enjoyed this book!

Chelsea Cain's books about Archie and Gretchen just keep getting better and better.
This third book of the series also keeps you turning pages and pages til the end.
As the "relationship" between Archie and Gretchen keeps becoming more and more twisted and intense you want to scream NOOOOOOOOOOOO keep away from her to Archie...but NO he keeps on going back...
This is a edge of your seat thriller that you will not forget long after the last page is read.
Now I heard that she has a 4th book coming out next year and I cannot wait.
